My little girls room

10 days left!!! Finally finished the nursery. I am very pleased with how it turned out. I love the colors!!

Now I just need my little baby girl!!

We have been having lots of fun in our new house. There is so much space for my little redheads(Avery and Humphrey) to run around.

We had a great Christmas. Avery got lots of goodies. Her stocking was full of shiny new bracelets. And she got some really fun big presents.
Including a bounce house and a princess tent! Of course Humphrey spends more time in the tent than Avery.


After Christmas we took a quick trip up to Tahoe to play in the snow. Avery had a great time stomping around and trying to nibble the snow off her mittens.





I still haven't finished Isabel's nursery, but I have pretty much finished Avery's room. I still need to make her a valance. And her room looks fairly empty since her toys are all downstairs...

The colors look much better in person. A pretty plum and sage color.

Still have lots of work to do and not a lot of time!

It sure has been a while....

Things have been a little crazy and overwhelming the past few months.

We bought a house and moved in the beginning of November. Before we had even finished cleaning out the apartment I ended up in the hospital.

I woke up around midnight on the 17th in more pain than I have ever felt in my entire life (made me wish I was in labor.) Ended up in the ER later that morning... I had a Pulmonary Embolism! Good times... 5 days in the hospital...

I knew daddy was taking good care of my little girl, but I still missed her like crazy. I think she missed me too! So did Humphrey my kitten.

Now I am just weeks away from having baby number 2 and trying to get things ready even though I am completely exhausted and large.
